I am a University of Akron student pursuing my undergraduate degree in middle level education. When I tutor students, I like to guide them along the problem-solving process and explain concepts as we go. I do not like to give away answers, but I like to help my students develop problem-solving skills so that they can find the answer on their own. I believe that this help students understand concepts better, and it also provides them with learning skills for them to become independent. When I have spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities like camping, biking, and hiking. I also like to play softball, read, paint, and spend time with family and friends.
